My minivan was overheating and my check engine light was on. The problem turned out to be something simple which made the promise even MORE simple. I was credited some labor time since I didn't use it all, and best of all, my car is back up and running and I didn't have to empty my pocketbook, pay towing charges, or even buy a part b/c it was a fuse. Instead of just saying "you need a new fuse" and me having to run out in a different car or risk overheating in my minivan to get the fuse I need, he replaced it with my working automatic trunk open fuse and told me "you'll need a new one of these for the trunk to open automatically." Common sense to boot! I was so pleased at my first time using this, that I want to get something else on my car done just so I can use it again.

Charles showed up early for the appointment, and it took him less than 30 minutes from the time he arrived to change a battery from a Chrysler 200, which requires removing the battery through the wheel well. It takes my Chrysler dealership longer than that and they charge a lot more. This is my first time using Your Mechanic, and it was a positive experience to have someone who could come to my apartment and change my battery when my dealership wouldn't, and none of the mechanics I called in the local area would make the trip to my apartment to help.
