In 1999, I graduated from Wyoming Technical Institute with a degree in auto repair and an AA degree in shop management. After returning to the Bay area, i quickly landed a job with Peter Pan Motors. I also have worked for Toyota dealers. I achieved an expert level status on Audi/VW models, through many hours of factory training classes. I own my own scan tool for Audi / VW and am capable of diagnosing all types of driveability issues. Over the past 15 years in my profession, I have amassed the tools and experience to tackle many car manufacturers' maintenance requirements. I have been working as an independent mobile mechanic since 2008. Customers like the fact that they can have me come to them and not have to deal with all the hassles of a shop.

Jonathan was extremely nice and polite, yet in my first drive after he worked on my car there are sounds from the engine that weren't there before and a service light went on (also, wasn't there before). Considering the fact that the first mechanic you sent simply didn't show up, wasn't available when I called to check if he is coming, and also that the main costumer service didn't answer - I am VERY disappointed by the service I got...

Got the job done expertly. The car had sat for a week while I went around and round trying to diagnose what was wrong. Called everyone I knew for advice and was ready to concede defeat. There was much uncertainty as to whether I would ever get my car going without spending much much more than I could afford. I was prepared to call, with phone in hand, and have the vehicle towed to an unknown repair shop when (true story) I got the call from the inquiry I had made to the website of Your Mechanic. Just in time. Saved the day. Everything went smoothly from that point on and I am more than satisfied at how this all worked out. To me, this is now the only way to have service work or engine repair work diagnosed and repaired. Clearly Jonathan and Your Mechanic proved themselves to me.
