After getting the work agreed upon with the main office, the mechanic was able to complete the job. So far so good. It took him a while longer to replace the part but I guess that goes with the territory. Working on cars sight unseen has the potential for unexpected situations. The mechanic worked away until the alternator was replaced so kudos for his hard work. I enjoyed being able to continue my telecom at home while the work was being done. Very convenient.
