Alfred provided exceptional service and value. I was a little nervous as to how things would work out as I usually took my car to the dealer. Alfred showed up a few minutes early, was friendly, professional, made sure that the battery was not the problem, explained clearly what was going on, finished the job ahead of schedule and did not leave a mess. Cost was much less than I would have paid at the dealer and I did not have to deal with the hassle of driving there, renting a car and going back. Overall, great service, and I would highly recommend.

Al was amazing. He fixed my brakes and didnt try and sell me any "extras". My bill was the exact amount that My Mechanic had quoted me...WHICH WAS $100 LESS THAN WHAT AN AUTO SHOP HAD QUOTED ME. Al explained everything everything to me in layman's terms. Using My Mechanic was an overall excellent experience. I will recommend Al to all of my friends and family. Thanks Alfred!!

BOB BORISSOV pointed out that the "check engine" light was on. I had known that and told him the light came on when the harmonic balancer pulley loosened, which was the reason we needed YourMechanic service. I asked him how the "check engine" light would be turned off and Bob told me I would need to disconnect the battery cable for 30-60 seconds and then reattach the battery cable. My question is this: Why did not Bob, the YourMechanic mechanic, do this while he had the engine compartment open???
