Sy

Sy is a really nice guy and very friendly when he arrived. So far my car is working great and so it appears that he did a good job. The not as positive rating is due to his tardiness. He missed the first appointment I made due to traffic and not attaining necessary parts prior to the appointment, which was frustrating since I left work early to get my car fixed. He very professionally made up for it by offering to come early the next morning to fix my car, which he did. While fixing my car, a stud in the tire broke and so he came a third time to fix it free of charge. He, however, was 40 minutes late to this appointment resulting in me missing an important meeting. He seems to have completed the necessary work and was very friendly, however, I tried YourMechanic out in order to save time and for it being convenient, neither of which happened.

I had an appointment with Sy on a Friday at 3pm to get my starter replaced. When Sy's previous appointment was going longer than expected, he let me know right away that he would be late. His previous appointment ended up taking much more time than expected, so we had to reschedule - Not a big deal, these things happen. We rescheduled for the next day in the early afternoon. Sy showed up an hour early and was extremely friendly and professional. He was also very apologetic for having to reschedule our appointment. After checking a few things under the hood to make sure it was in fact my starter that was the problem, he installed the new starter and ensured my car was starting/running back to normal. Overall, it was a good experience using yourmechanic and I'd definitely recommend Sy to others.
