I have been a mechanic for over 20 years. Most of my time has been spent as a mobile mechanic with some time spent with Chrysler. While at Chrysler I became a certified chrysler master technician along with my ASE master technician certifications. I love helping people with their cars, especially when I can save them time and especially money.

First, let me start by saying that Peter arrived on time, early even, was knowledgeable and efficient. He did fix the issue I was having, enough for me to get to a garage, and that was the goal. However, that said, he was disparaging about cars from the east coast (by that I mean he wasn’t a fan of the rust that accompanies snow, sleet, and salted roads ) and left me feeling I should drop my car at the nearest junkyard. I think his precise words were, “I wouldn’t touch it with a 10 foot pole.” Now, he certainly knows much more about cars than I but I do think there is a way to speak to someone, when s/he are feeling stranded and upset by a situation, that doesn’t leave them feeling more overwhelmed and discouraged. Or, perhaps that’s just my opinion. I do appreciate what he did for me and the experience with the company was very good. But maybe, without sugarcoating things, Peter might try getting his point across with out being so painfully blunt. Again, just one person‘s opinion.

Peter is true to his profession. Equipped this second visit with a bigger tool box, he said he could do more. I don't know how he fit this box into the back of his vehicle (completely ready to go!). The tool box is definitely a permanent part of him (multiple drawers) as it is wider than his vehicle's opening. Now that is dedication! I appreciated his comments about my vehicle. It is always nice to get positive feedback. As a true mechanic, he said I should always takes care of it. By the way, it seemed to run smoother after he finished. That made me feel good.
