Q: what are the symptoms of a bad axle? 2006 Honda Civic

....what are symptoms of a bad axle?

My car has 88000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

Hello. A bad axle shows up in a few ways. A visual inspection would first tell you if there is a broken and leaking boot on the axle. Though a boot can be replaced I usually replace the axle. They will also cause a clocking noise when turning if they fail and can cause vibration if they have excessive play in them.
