no heat at ilde but heat when driving.tempature of engine is normal. air coming from vents measures a temperature of 140-150 degrees when driving but cold at idle. radiator was replaced summer of 2016. heater core was flushed December 2016. Kevin do you still think it is thermostat?

If the thermostat is not open yet then the thermostat will not let enough fluid to flow into the heater core. You should have both heater hoses into the heater core hot when idling. You should let the engine run at a high idle for at least 5 minutes before driving away. If you still get no heat then you should check and replace the thermostat. In extreme cold weather you may have an engine that may not run hot enough at idle.
