Available Models
The Acura MDX comes in three different packages, the base package, the technology package, and the advance packages. Each one has the same 3.7liter V6 engine along with the same gas mileage. The advance package includes the technology package plus a sport suspension, ventilated front seats, and 19 inch alloy wheels.
Major Recalls
In February of 2012, the Acura MDX vent shut float valve case was found not to meet design specifications so it was recalled. This can cause a fuel leak which will increase the risk of fire.
Common Issues
A common complaint for the Acura MDX is a rumbling and vibration sound as the vehicle accelerates. Another grievance is the backup camera not being bright enough to see during night, causing issues and concerns for those who commonly use the camera. Consumers have also complained the power driver seat stopped working shortly after it was purchased.
