Perfect
This is the second five star review I am giving Caz Showalter. The first five star review was after he came to my apartment to install a new fuel pump in my 1998 Chrysler Town & Country minivan. Read my previous review to learn of my excellent first experience with Caz. The fuel pump failed 7 days after it was installed. The van died going up a hill in my apartment complex and never started again. I had to roll it backward into a parking place in a public area by the mailboxes. The apartment complex was not happy. Caz's work carried a 12 month, 12,000 mile warranty through yourmechanic.com, so I contacted them to begin the process to make a warranty claim. It took a few days, and some prodding of the people at yourmechanic.com, but soon Caz was back with a new fuel pump. He dropped my fuel tank and replaced the pump right there where it sat. Bad news, though. This pump was bad too. the vehicle would not start. Caz ordered me a new pump, a different brand name, from his known reputable parts dealer, and was over the next day to install it. He rearranged his schedule to get me back on the road. The pump continues to work well, and it is because of Caz's work ethic, sense of pride, and ability to troubleshoot problems. Another great job, Caz. Thanks!
Caz checked in with me ahead of my appointment, which was scheduled for a morning following a rainy night. My vehicle was parked outdoors in the open, so he took some extra time to get wet weather gear before coming to fix the vehicle so that he could be comfortable and do a good job. Once here, Caz was quick and efficient with the repair (he replaced my fuel pump, a big job) and communicated with me the whole time. Upon completion I checked the vehicle out, and we had a great discussion about my vehicle and cars in general. I have never used 'Your Mechanic' before and this experience was EXCELLENT. Thanks, Caz!
