2012 Ford F-150 7,500 mile service at the convenience of your home or office

Ben arrived 30 minutes before the scheduled appointment, which was a plus. Took his pictures and went to work installing my starter. I was missing some bolts but luckily he had a few spares that he used for me. In and out within an hour and a half. He even found a problem they I had no idea of. I hope he is available next time I need mechanical work done.

Simon did a fine job changing the oil pressure sensor. However, he was 3 hours late. Which appears to not be his fault but the fault of Yourmechanic.com. He was scheduled for 2 vehicles at the same time. Not sure how that happened, nor why no one from Yourmechanic.com bothered to let me know that he was going to be late. It would only have taken a text to alert me. But no. I had to call Yourmechanic.com twice to get status updates. And I'm not sure how to deal with this issue. They charged me $99 for a $10 part. Not Simon's fault though.

Johnny Johng arrived on time and diagnosed the problem quickly. Unfortunately, it seems Your Mechanic doesn't authorize repairs that involve anything to do with turbos and my leak was a water gasket on the turbo. He explained all this to me and helped me make arrangements for the repair somewhere else. My evaluation for him is excellent, but I would caution others to know exactly what they are paying for when using Your Mechanic. The technician essentially come to perform a diagnostic which is what you are paying for. Repairs appears to be extra and are not included in the price which seems a bit misleading on their website.
