Good Afternoon, my name is \*\*\*\*\* \*\*\*\*\* ill be helping you, so sorry to hear about the issues here on the Pontiac. I know how frustrating it can be to deal with electrical issues especially when they affect your windows. Now just so im clear the passenger side window will not go down from the master switch or the passenger side window switch?

the reason i ask is that if we have replaced the motor and the switch then we can suspect a wiring issue. we would need to test the yellow wire at the passenger side switch for power with the key on and then the light blue wire for power when the master window switch is pressed to lower the window. if you are missing it there then you have a wiring fault most likely.

Okay good. test those wires that I mentioned. They are the power feeds for the up function from either switch. Let me know what we find out after they are tested. Thank you.

Hi there. Check to see that all of the connections are tight. Grease up the ball joints (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/lubricate-ball-joints) to make sure that they are lubricated. If all of the parts are tight that you installed, then go over to the...
Hi there: Once the vehicle starts, the job of the battery is pretty much done; which means if you're having issues with the vehicle shutting off, it's most likely caused by ignition system components; such as a the distributor or...
Hello, thank you for writing in. At this point you have done most of the diagnostic work. You know the motor is getting power, so the issue is either with the gears inside of the motor or the linkage. The...
Hi there - it sounds to me like your pilot bearing is seizing (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/how-to-troubleshoot-a-car-with-clutch-noise-by-tim-charlet). When it starts to seize, it does not allow the transmission input shaft to stop rotating while the engine continues to turn. For the driver, this...
Hi there. Typically what you are describing is an indication that a tune up service is due. As the vehicle's ignition and fuel system components age, they will collect excessive levels of carbon deposits, which makes it more difficult to...

See the part identified as No. "529" (ACDelco #12589440) on the just referenced parts diagram. Replacement of the valve might require...
