It is 2009 2.3 turbo front wheel drive just wondering if I remove thermostat from housing and run it with no thermostat if there will be issues apart from heater and cold running temp ?It’s done 140,000km

You will still build heat will take longer to warm up, and will set a code for the thermostat, but you can....why are you bypassing it?

Temporary fix till I can replace thermostat due to funds but thermostat will be replaced, just wondering if it will cause issues ? I have bled system and thermostat still not opening, need vehicle for 2 weeks before I can replace itIf code is set and thermostat is replaced will ecu need reset ?

Understand...yeah you should be able to run without a thermostat, like I said it will set an engine light for a thermostat code, which is probably already on, but as long as you get the air out you should be ok until you can get one back in asapNo once you get a new thermostat in and clear the codes it should be good

did you try to tap on the thermostat housing? or can you even get to it while its running?
