Hello and welcome to Just Answer. I'm Paul, And happy to help you with your question today. this indicates the [catalytic converter](/topics-catalytic-converter-toyota/) is not performing as well as the computer would like to see. it will not effect the way it runs most of the time. it simply means the catalytic converter is aging and emissions have increased to a point the computer does not like. if the code does return after clearing the catalytic converter will need to be replaced. See details on testing for the code below. [https://peapull.com/o/1614182645.pdf](https://peapull.com/o/1614182645.pdf) if there are no other codes and no [exhaust](/topics-exhaust-toyota/) leak this indicates a deteriorating catalytic converter. again it presents no issues with the way the car drives normally. it's strictly about increased emissions levels. If you need more help just reply, and let me know. Thank you, Paul

you are going to need to replace the catalytic converter it can be verified by a backpressure test easily.

We had previously had the main cat. changed. 3 years ago.I agree. I hope nothing was damaged. The engine light started flashing last week.
Automotive Expert
I would check to see if you have a warranty on it. also if the engine had any misfires from a bad coil or [spark plug](/topics-spark-plug-toyota/) the catalytic can be damaged in a matter of days so it doesn't take long to damage a cat. you can ignore any phone call prompts that is automatic from the site

Do I go back to the website to set up appt?Should I go back to the website?
Automotive Expert
not sure what website you are going to but we are just answer the repair help questions here.

Thanks for help. Good day

No problem you as well. Paul

The Check Engine (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/check-engine-light-is-on-inspection) and Oil Pressure Light (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/oil-pressure-light-is-on-inspection) may flash if the oil pressure switch did not give an oil pressure signal to keep the fuel pump running. I suggest having the vehicle scanned for any codes, then test...

Changing my water pump What sequence should I remove the belts in and how would I go about that?
If you're going to replace the belts, which is what I recommend, you just start with the outermost belt and work your way back. Off the top of my head I believe the water pump belt is the last one...
