Q: How do I customize the Delayed Door Lock?

When the Delayed Door Lock feature is on and you press the lock button when one of the doors is open, the locks will wait until all the doors are closed, delay for a few seconds, and then lock. Turning the Delayed Door Lock feature on and off takes only a few steps: 1. Turn on the Infotainment system. 2. Press the CONFIG button to select the Configuration Settings menu. 3. Rotate the MENU/SELECT knob to Vehicle Settings, then press the knob to select. 4. Rotate the MENU/SELECT knob to Power Door Locks, then press the knob to select. 5. Rotate the MEN/SELECT knob to Delayed Door Lock, then press the knob to select. 6. Use the MENU/SELECT knob to choose between On and Off. Tip When the Delayed Door Lock feature is on, the delay can be overridden by pressing the door lock button that is located on the instrument panel.
