It's an automatic. It sat for 5 months because of Covid. When I went to start it the battery was dead. I charged the battery but it kept dying overnight after a couple of days. I wouldn't drive the car. So I kept charging the battery till finally 3 days ago I moved my car across the street and then when I tried to turn it on again only the lights came on, no crank. I just installed a new battery 2 days ago and still just get the lights

Okay, could it be the starter relay? I hear a click when I turn the key. Sometimes a buzz from the interior fuse box

Possibly but highly unlikely. The relay is buzzing because the voltage isn’t being used to power the starter.

Easy test. Use a test light, small wire on starter motor, check for 12 volts while someone is cranking the key. 12 volts you have a bad starter, no voltage you have another issue. I rarely ever see anything but a bad starter
