Hello moose! I hope things are well and the Klondike. I have a 2008 Ford E350 and the service RSC light an alarm as well as the ABS light is on. The Ford dealership said that it is the stability control cluster that needs to be replaced. Other mechanics have told me that they cannot replace it because they don't know how to program it. I was wondering if I could just purchase one and replace it myself and then have the Ford dealership program it. Mechanic's Assistant: Is it just the ABS light? Or is the [brake](/topics-brake-ford/) system warning light on, too? There is no brake system warning. Service RSC now is coming on as well with a dinging sound. It comes on every 3 minutes or so. Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your E350 yourself? What have you tried so far? I've just replaced any fuses pertaining to the ABS and RSC and then I took it to the Ford dealership and they diagnosed it as needing the stability control cluster replaced.

Hello this is Brian I hope I can help. Yes you should be able to install it and program it through the dealer. If you send me a VIN I may be able to find an aftermarket one that comes programmed for you.

Thank you. \*\*\*\*\* is 1FBNE31L98DA24680. Please check on an aftermarket part. Also, is the stability control cluster easy to replace and where is it located, exactly? Thanks!!!is it the rsc control module that I need. My diagnosis from Ford was the "stability control cluster" needed to be replaced but I cannot find that part anywhere on the internet. I found the RSC module and an instrument cluster. The alert on my dashboard says to service RSC now and it has a annoying alarm sound that goes off every 3 minutes or so. The ABS light is on as well as they stability control and Etc.

The diagnosis actually says it is the stability control module. Not cluster. This debility control module needs to be replaced.Rsc module

Who did I respond to? It was somebody named Moose. This is super confusing.hank you. My VIN is 1FBNE31L98DA24680. Please check on an aftermarket part. Also, is the stability control module easy to replace and where is it located, exactly? Thanks!!!RSC Control module. Can you find an after-market one that is already programmed for my vehicle? Moose didn't answer me.

Hello, my name is\*\*\*\*\* to JustAnswer and thanks for your question! The other expert has opted out of this question, that is why you are not receiving replies from him. The RSC on this vehicle is controlled by the ABS module, There is no RSC module. There is a stability control sensor cluster that is used for yaw/pitch data for roll control. If the ABS module needs replacing then it does require dealer programming. It is located behind the [coolant](/topics-coolant-ford/) overflow bottle mounted to the hydraulic control unit. If the stability control sensor cluster requires replacement it also requires programming and configuration and is located under the passenger seat. If you purchase either of these preprogrammed to the VIN, they still require a dealer scanner to identify them to the vehicles network. If you have any follow up questions, please let me know using the reply button. **_If you are satisfied with my help, please let me know so we can complete your question._** Thank you for using Just Answer today! Kind Regards, Kenny

It is the cluster. Can you find an aftermarket one? One that matches my VIN?
Automotive Expert
I am a dealer technician, so I only deal with OEM parts. I will have to do some internet research and see if I can find one. Even if the cluster is programmed to the VIN it still requires configuration with a dealer scan tool. I will reply back when I find an aftermarket one.

Thank you!!!

You're very welcome! I am not coming up with anything that is VIN specific, even the aftermarket look to be very close in price to OEM. Click link below...
