Hear a clicking sound when i try to start it up and it won’t start up and i see a servic advancetrac on dash check [engine](/topics-engine-ford/) light and oil sign in red on dash Mechanic's Assistant: Does the light stay on, or does it blink? When i try to crank it or just when the key is in Mechanic's Assistant: What is the make/model/year of your car? 2011 ford mustang v6 Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your Mustang yourself? Most likely this is a weak battery, or shorted battery, Can you get a jump start from someone with jumper cables to see if that helps? or do you have triple A ? I suspect it is low voltage with that clicking sound as the [starter](/topics-starter-ford/) probably doesn't have enough voltage to crank the engine.

Ok I drove it 1200 miles in 2 days do you think that has something to do with why the car is doing this
Automotive Expert
It was acting fine when you drove it correct? with no warning lights or odd things happening on your trip?

I just turned the key and this is the first time it crunk up since I came back from the Trip and it ran like a champ on the trip no problems at all no signs at all
Automotive Expert
Alright, if there were no problems and no warning indicators on, then I do not believe the trip has anything to do with this issue, so it did crank up this time? and it's running alright?

Im just sitting in it but its still running im fina drive it to my garage
Automotive Expert
Alright, Most likely it is either the battery or possibly the starter motor. a voltage and load test on the battery should be performed to see if it's good or not, and if the battery is good, then I suspect the starter motor is most likely the next culprit. If no warning indicators are on, then the [alternator](/topics-alternator-ford/) and charging system is most likely fine. If you can drive it by a local auto parts store tom. they can check the battery and charging system for you.

Ok and if its the starter motor how much do they cost and the average price on the service of them
Automotive Expert
online probably 100$ or so at rockauto.com. And will be double that at a local auto parts store. labor around 2.0 hours tops to remove and replace. Thank you! Let us know if you have any further questions.

How much the labor woukd cost
Automotive Expert
probably 150$ or so. would be fair in my opinion.

Ok appreciate you I'll be reaching back out after my mechanic looks at it and lets me know what he thinks to update you with more info‼️
Automotive Expert
Alright, sounds good. Thank you and have a good weekend.

Hey my car cranks with the weak battery do you think its safe to drive to the parts store 5mins from my house so they can test the battery
Automotive Expert
Yes, as long as the charging light isn't on and the alternator is charging, it should be ok.

Ok ima send u a pic of the dash before i pull off
Automotive Expert
Alright, sounds good.

My steering wheel is shaking
Just because the wheel has weights attached to it doesn't mean it is balanced correctly. My guess is that the wheels/tires are out of balance. However, the problem could also be worn steering/suspension parts or tires (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/brakes-steering-and-suspension-inspection). A bent rim...
Engine check light on and cruise control not working, but speedometer works

My car trembles or idles hard when I'm at a temporary stop. It feels like the car wants to move before I'm ready.
