here is some info on that code which points in the dirrection of the timing chain being worn.. A don't think a call is needed as of yet.

So have you tried clearing the code with a scan-tool

Truck rin fine with no noiseI was think bank 1 VVT EX sprocket

and it came back after clearing it. so that would mean that the bank 1 cam shaft is out of time, and it may not be enough to cause it to run bad yet, but enough to cause the code to pop on. which is telling you that it is time for a timing chain and the guides to be replaced.

I have not seen one do this as is shown in the bulletin but if they made this bulletin that means it has happened a few times So yes I would inspect the crank shaft reluctor wheel and the timing chain and try to find the problem,

Would you do the time chain 1st or pull oil pan 1st

timing chain cover first and try to line it all up and see if it is off first, this is the most common problem.
