Q: Car smells heavily of cigarette smoke
I just bought this car and it smells horrible. It was a lease and people smoked heavily in the car. I have tried everything. My last resort is to have the air duct cleaned. Is that something that can be done?
Hi, this comes up often. A good way to get rid of the smell is to place 2 white vinegar soaked towels in separate bowls. One should be placed by the ashtray and one in the back seat. If your car is bigger more bowls can be used. The vinegar absorbs the smoke smell.
