Q: Car hard to steer after making noise

asked by on January 25, 2016

My car started making noise and it became difficult to steer, and the battery light came on. The belt was hanging from the bottom of the car, next to the front passenger's side tire, and fluid was leaking out.

It sounds like you may have a bad water pump that caused the belt to come off. I would suggest having a technician come out and look at the car and inspect what caused the belt to come off and make any repairs that are necessary.
