Possibly. The repair kits and fittings being vended in the aftermarket have different applications, in particular low pressure return versus high pressure supply from the fuel pump. If both ends of the OEM tube presently on the vehicle are accessible and each end has a pre-make already attached fitting, the safest course by far is to buy the entire pre-fabricated line and not attempt a patch. If the OEM line is not available and you are working with rigid steel, there are newer, non-corrosive materials available such as Cunifer which a mechanic can fabricate right at your location, replacing the entire section. Nylon fuel line has its own unique fittings and those, too, depend on the pressure in the line that you are working on. If you have a fuel leak, if you like you can just request a fuel leak inspection and repair and the responding certified mechanic will handle the whole process for you. That is definitely a safer option, too.
