- Will a scan tool communicate with the modules and are there codes?

The theft light does come on. The scan tool did have modules but I don’t know about the codes or how they look. Yes it does crank.

Since you were not able to reply to the info request I sent. I cannot be as accurate and thorough as I would like. I hope what I can provide does help.
If those steps I provided are above your skill level then it may be best to let a shop handle this. As of right now, this looks to be possibly related to a faulty ECM.
