The proper amount of refrigerant is always the starting point of a/c diagnosis, which can only be done with a machine. Next is a/c compressor operation, which can only be checked with a/c gauges. Knowledge of a/c operation is best for this type of issue, but my repair info states that the most common failure of the system is the a/c compressor. Hope this helps, thank you.

A common cause for an intermittent no start on the Volvo 850 and stalling is a failing main fuel relay (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/symptoms-of-a-bad-or-failing-main-relay-computer-fuel-system). The contacts in this relay over time can burn, causing no fuel delivery and ultimately a stall and subsequent...
Valve cover gaskets (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/valve-cover-gasket-replacement) are a common source of oil leaks. However since your engine has oil all over the block, it 's best to clean the engine of all the built up oil so the source of the leak...
If the hydraulics are working correctly, there are a couple of things that could be wrong with the clutch that would prevent it from releasing. Unfortunately, any of them will require removal of the transmission for repair. At 191,000 miles,...
Hello - this piece is part of the crankcase ventilation system (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/how-long-does-a-crankcase-vent-filter-last), and has a PCV valve underneath. It vents crankcase fumes to the air intake system for combustion, regulated by the PCV valve. This hose is available separately from...
If vehicle is hard to start after the engine head was removed then you may need to double check the timing of the timing belt was set correct and the engine has no codes for the cam sensor set because...
If the problem occurred right after the service, there might be a connection. If the timing belt were not correct I would expect to see a check engine light, so that's probably not the case. But there might be a...
If you are getting fuel pressure then you may not be getting spark. This is usually caused by the distributor module and coil. You should check for spark at spark plugs and if not then replace distributor.
