Of course, there are certain limitations to what can be done on site. For this, I'd typically give an 8 of 10 likelihood to recommend him to a friend or colleague. But, if the job is within his scope of practice and the requisite tools are accessible, I'd definitely recommend him as a "10" for the appropriate repairs. I believe that yourmechanic.com would not send him (or any other mechanic) to a job for which he is not properly equipped, so that should never be an issue.
