Dominic arrived right on schedule and replaced the front brake rotors and pads in under an hour. He will certainly be my first call for any future car maintenance. Highly recommended.
This was my first time using YourMechanic; the idea of an UBER-like car maintenance service was certainly intriguing. They were certainly less expensive than the chain stores in town (by more than 35%), but most impressive was the ability to schedule in the evenings. Dominic's efficiency exceeded my expectations (completed within an hour). That said, I've already booked an appointment with Dominic (two days later) to have him complete my front rotors/pads as well. Highly recommended!
I would love to give a good review because he was a likable guy, but I cannot. Our repair was a replacement of a bulb and this would entail removing the bumper cover to accomplish. Nickolass attempted to replace without removing the cover and couldn’t complete the job because he had personal plans that evening. I’m guessing he thought, without doing research, that he was going to plug the bulb in and collect $300 and leave in 5 minutes. For some reason he put our keys in his pocket and left, which created another problem because he “didn’t have time to return them”. He wanted to meet me half way, but I couldn’t drive because he had our keys. I ended up watching a YouTube video and replaced the bulb myself. Additionally, he attempted to convince me new headlight assemblies were the solution to the problem.
