Q: What does the Intelligent Key™ removal indicator mean?

While your car’s Intelligent Key™ allows remote start and stop functions, it can easily be left behind, particularly if the battery is dead and you have to insert the key into the port. If your vehicle information display is showing the Intelligent Key™ removal indicator, it means that you need to remove the key. This warning will only show if the engine is off, the key is in the port and the driver side door is open. You’ll hear a chime, too. Just remove the key to clear the message and turn off the chime.
