A live optional phone call will be automatically offered by JustAnswer,
But I can not do calls at the moment we can carry on with text?
It may take a moment for me to get back to you as I may have to look up information about your concern,
So I really appreciate your patience.
This problem you have is the solenoids, after getting warm they start to short out.
Also possible restrictions in the hydraulic lines in the valve body?
The valve body will need to be removed and inspected.
First check transmission Fluid it should be a nice clear light red to clear light Brown if dark brown to black then you have internal transmission issues.
Check the fluid with the engine at running temp for best results, check with the engine running.
My goal is to provide you with excellent service.
<u>If you need more help, please let me know so l can continue to assist you.</u>
Simply reply back if you require additional information and I will be happy to help with any follow up questions.
I am not done until you are happy.

Still not sure what you need?
Have a certified mobile mechanic diagnose what's wrong with your car, at your home or office.
Air or restrictions in the system or low coolant level are the two most common causes of overheating (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/car-is-overheating-inspection). I would look near the thermostat that was just replaced to ensure that it isn't leaking. If it is not I...
If your RX does indeed need and engine then you will have options depending on if you want it rebuilt, or replaced with a new, rebuilt or new unit. All of these variations will have their own costs depending on...
The shift mechanism has a solenoid that is part of the mechanism, which may have broken the small lever that releases the lock that enables the shifter to get out of Park. The fix is to replace the shifter assembly....
Hi there, thanks for writing in. I'd be happy to provide my insight. There is a possibility that they may have overfilled the brake reservoir with brake fluid. Start by checking that it has the proper amount. Secondly, it is...
Hello. If the coolant leak is coming from a location near the cooling fan, this may suggest your water pump may be leaking. A common place for this to happen is from the water pump shaft as there is a...
This light will usually come on when one of two things are happening. Either the motor is in fact low on oil or the oil pressure sending unit (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/oil-pressure-sensor-replacement) is not working properly and may be producing a faulty reading....

The on board diagnostic (OBD) sets a pending code each time the ECU detects a problem. It confirms the code if it sees the same problem twice. So you're really only dealing with the two codes : P0016 and 17.These...
Check the coil packs and see if they are producing the voltage needed to keep the engine running. If the voltage is too low, then the coil packs may need replaced. If you have an inline fuel filter, I suggest...
