Yes, you can purchase a vehicle with an oil leak. You will want to look it over yourself or have a shop do so. This will tell you which oil is leaking, and from where, and why its occurring. then you can come up with a cost to repair to see if the vehicle value is where it needs to be. If the vehicle cost is high, then deduct the repair cost. If the vehicle cost is low then you can assume the cost to repair is already been taken out.
Thank you for seeking us for help, I hope I provided what was needed. Press reply if you need to follow up. If you liked my answer please let me know so I can mark your question complete. Moose

Still not sure what you need?
Have a certified mobile mechanic diagnose what's wrong with your car, at your home or office.
Unfortunately, I will not be able to post a picture of this repair. The service manual recommends pulling the engine to perform the repair. YourMechanic does not do this kind of service on your vehicle. I suggest purchasing a service...
That's a good question. P507 is your idle speed control. There are a few issues you may want to look into. The throttle valve may be sticking, bad throttle motor, ECM, or a wiring problem. I would start by checking...
Hello. This is likely a transmission issue. Have you checked the level of the transmission fluid? When was the last time you had the transmission serviced? This includes having the fluid changed and having a new filter put in the...
Hi there. Though you may still have a warranty on the vehicle you may want to have someone else check it out first. It sounds like they may not have changed both of the hub bearings, but it can also...
You're right in that this car is way more complicated than a GM product. But oil change and Brake fluid change are a couple of services that you should be able to perform yourself. If you choose to do that,...
Your vehicle will start and run well on both regular and premium fuel unleaded. Premium fuel is stated as "required" by Mercedes Benz simply because premium will maximize the performance, fuel economy, and possibly service life of the engine. But,...
The noise that you are hearing could be one of the rod bearings are knocking in the engine or the flex plate could have a loose bolt making the torque converter bounce around. I recommend seeking out a professional, such...
Hi Diavon. Thanks for sending in your question. If you turn the key and it's making a buzzing or clicking sound, then there are usually two reasons why. First, the battery most likely does not have enough cranking AMPs to...
Hi Alex. Thanks for contacting us today. These are two different filters. One is located under the passenger side of the dashboard, that can be removed fairly easily, the other is behind the dash and accessible through the engine compartment....
