Q: transmission filter needs replaced.
my car used to be a police car. it looks to have an after market transmission filter in front of the transmission oil pan. There isn't much information on the filter except it says engine support lube filter 3018-3.5. What filter can I get that will be compatible for this?

Hi there. The best thing that you could do is remove the filter from the vehicle and take the filter to a local parts store and have them match up the filter with a different filter.
