The codes indicate there may be an issue with the turbo wastegate solenoid. The most common part at fault for code P0244 is this solenoid. I have attached the replacement procedure. This will also cause P0171. Please let me know if you would like further testing information, we will need electronic testing equipment to troubleshoot.

We will need to complete further testing, please tell me if you have a DVOM and scan tool. Otherwise, we may need to take vehicle to a mechanic with testing equipment. Its possible you may have a bad turbo as well.

Lets follow this basic testing procedure for P0171. Also attached some additional information. You will also want to verify timing and check what fuel trims look like.
1. Check the fuel trims at idle and at cruise. Plus or minus 10% is ok. If trims are high at idle and not at cruise suspect a vacuum leak. Block off vacuum accessories, see if trims come down. Spray carb spray around the intake to try to find leak.
2. Check the fuel pressure to be 49-52 PSI.
3. Check for E85 fuel.
4. Check the Mass Airflow Meter (MAF) reading for accuracy. A 2.5L engine at 800 RPM and 20" idle vacuum with 29.9 barometric pressure and 0.75 volumetric efficiency comes to about 3.4 g/sec.
5. Check the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) reading for accuracy.
6. Clamp off the hose going to the brake booster to see if the fuel trims go back to normal.
7. Check the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) for accuracy.
