SRS airbag light stays on.
Hello! An airbag light will usually set due to a fault in the SRS circuit. Most of the time it will set due to a open squib in the SRS circuit. A squib is simply the factory term for air bag. A technician such as the staff provided by YourMechanic will be able to use a scan tool to retrieve the codes the SRS system has set. The set code will usually look something like "B1B02 open circuit of squib circuit." If you would like to have this issue addressed, a certified mechanic can inspect your Air Bag Light and recommend a repair.
