If the [engine](/topics-engine-saab/) is seized then you would need to have it replaced. Of course I would not assume anything. You'll need to have the engine inspected to see if it is seized up. You can use a ratchet in a socket to turn the crankshaft pulley. If the engine spins freely then the engine is not seized and you just need to find the oil leak, fix it, and add some oil.
