Q: Power Steering Pulley Removal

asked by on January 12, 2017

I rented two different pulley pullers from autozone and neither one will work. The first one would not grab the bolt, the second one was too big to get inside my truck with it. Is there a pulley puller you can recommend?

My car has 150000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

You should check to see if the special power steering tool looks like this kit. You will need this to remove and install the pulley. This kit is normal for Ford pulley removal and installer.
