I have codes p0171 p0174 and p1083. I have checked the air intake boots and replaced the fuel filter with no avail. When I drive the car I notice a few symptoms pertaining to the codes. When I come out of a turn my throttle studders and is delayed. When I get my rpms up to 2000-2500 a clear whistling sound can be heard from the engine, when this happens I also lose power a good amount. I Also have an oil leak and I have no clue where it's coming from.
My car has 152750 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

A number of things may cause codes P0171, P0174 and P1083 to be triggered. As the codes indicate, this means there is a lean fuel condition which may be caused by a lack of fuel supply or in some cases, a vacuum leak. When a vacuum leak is present, this introduces an excessive amount of air into the fuel/air mixture which results in leaning out the fuel content. Other problems such as a faulty fuel pressure regulator, a faulty fuel pump, a clogged fuel filter, faulty fuel injectors, faulty oxygen sensors, or a faulty mass air flow sensor may also cause this to happen. I would suggest having a professional from YourMechanic come to your location to diagnose and inspect your vehicle.
