Thanks for getting back. Sorry for the delay as I just got cut off. Yes, possible from your description that the speed sensor is faulty and needs replacement. However, clear troubleshooting (inspecting the wiring etc.) would need to be done first to make sure we are not missing anything. In addition, seems that you have a second issue with your [brake](/topics-brake-nissan/) lights. Possible that the brake light switch is acting up and causes the lights to stay on permanently. Here we also have to troubleshoot the issue correctly to prevent us from any repairs& part replacement that is not needed at this point. As you do have "electrical" malfunctions on the car, I would suggest to reach out to your local Nissan dealer. A dealer has the needed equipment and technical information (wiring diagrams etc.) to properly diagnose and repair both issues for you. You mean the brake warning light? Possible that one of the sensors that would detect that the brakes are worn failed or the brake fluid level is low.

Yes, possible that this is related. To see what exactly triggered the fault the systems need to be scanned with a capable diagnostic scanner. This will give us further direction on what causes the warning messages to appear.
