The service advanced trac warning is warning the driver that the ABS module senses a problem with the ABS system. You will need to have the ABS module scanned for trouble codes. If you get the ABS system scanned, which some auto parts stroes can do, post the codes on this page and I can tell you where the cause of the problem could be.

How is this relevant to the EVAP scan perform and the purge valve fixed?
Automotive Expert
They are two different systems and have no effect on each other.

I should take the car to a mechanic to look at? Are you sure they are irrelevant? Why did you need my VIN #?
Automotive Expert
The VIN# \*\*\*\*\* me to pull your vehicles information up on Ford database to check for recalls and to give me all the proper shop manuals. Plus with the VIN# \*\*\*\*\* can check for recalls on the vehicle which are VIN# \*\*\*\*\*

Can Mavis Discount Tire store take care of this? They do undercar work.

You can take it to a mechanic to have the ABS system checked out.

Ok. I will try to do this this weekend.

OK.

For some strange reason the SERVICE ADVANCETRAC light no longer illuminates.
Automotive Expert
If the light is off and you have no braking or driving issues, drive it till the light comes back on. It may be an intermittent concern.

Don't understand CEL Codes.
The codes P0300 through P0306 are for misfires of random cylinders or different cylinders. The second code P1456 is for the evaporative fuel tank system having a leak somewhere in the system (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/how-to-diagnose-a-fluid-leak-by-mark-vallet). Since you are getting random misfires, then...
Thumps and grinding noises in differential
It is possible that you could have a faulty wheel bearing (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/symptoms-of-bad-or-failing-wheel-bearings). Wheel bearings can often cause grinding noises when the lubrication onside them dries up. I would recommend having your vehicle inspected once more for a rear wheel bearing...
AC makes hissing noise and doesn't blow cold
The hissing noise is due to the A/C evaporator being starved of enough refrigerant. You will need to have refrigerant and dye added to the system and the hissing will go away. Then use a leak dye light (black light)...
Okay, I have a '99 Dodge Ram 2500 w/8.0 V10. The timing chain needs to be replaced. Should I replace the gears also?
Hi there. When changing out the timing chains, it is recommended to replace all the sprockets. The sprockets are worn into the old chains and can cause the new chains to prematurely fail or stretch. You can use a tensioner...
Can you pass emissions with a turbocharged car with odb-2 if it did not originally come with a turbocharger?

The AC starts out cold but doesn't stay cold, blows out cool air after about 20min.
Hi there. Sometimes a compressor clutch failure or restriction from the low pressure side of the AC system can cause this type of problem. In other cases, it'll be due to a refrigerant leak. It's always a good idea to...
335d p20ee code, SCR metering valve cleaning

Code coming up is P0496. I never had any problems til I tried to drive up a steep hill.
The trouble code P0496 (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/p0496-obd-ii-trouble-code-evap-flow-during-a-non-purge-condition-by-valerie-johnston) refers to a fault in the vehicle's evaporative emissions (EVAP) control system. Faults in the EVAP system will not typically cause loss of power. Perhaps other codes were stored but were missed in downloading that...
