Since you were not able to reply to the info request I sent. I cannot be as accurate and thorough as I would like in my answer. I hope what I can provide does help.
Possible causes for this can be a throttle body or accelerator pedal position sensor failure. It can also be to blame on a wiring failure at either of these parts.
