A knocking sound in the engine generally means that the bearings in the engine are worn. When the bearings are worn, this allows the parts of the engine to have excess movement, causing the knocking noise. I would ask for help from one of the mechanics at YourMechanic to diagnose what is causing the knocking noise in your engine, so they can recommend a repair.
