Hi! My name is \*\*\*\*\* \*\*\*\*\* I will be able to assist you. I’m sorry that you’re having trouble with your vehicle. Don’t worry though, we’ll be able to figure this out.
Please understand that I do not know your knowledge or capabilities so I may need to ask questions to find out basic information to help solve your specific problem.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to let me know. Sometimes it may take a moment for me to respond because I may have to look up information about your concern. I appreciate your patience and will provide responses as soon as possible.
If the key is in good shape, then your locked steering wheel is most likely the problem because if the steering wheel is locked, it will not allow the key to turn. You will need to turn the steering wheel to one direction and hold it there (it may be tough). While holding the wheel, try to turn the key. If it doesn't turn, then you will need to slowly allow the steering wheel to come back while trying to turn the key. If that doesn't work, then do the same thing but turn the wheel in the other direction. This should allow you to turn the key and unlock the steering wheel. If this does not work, then you may have a problem with the ignition lock cylinder and it will have to be replaced.
My goal is to earn a 5 star rating experience. If you have any follow up questions, please feel free to hit the "Reply" button below. If I’m not online at the time, I will respond ASAP when I get back. You can also request me in the future for any additional questions by starting your question with “For AutoDoc1 ONLY”. Hi there. From the description you have provided, my thought is, your vehicle has a coolant leak (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/coolant-is-leaking-inspection).
