Q: Information about Techron

asked by on April 13, 2016

What does Techron do?

Techron is a product made by Chevron that is a cleaner. It’s a very good cleaner and it cleans fuel injection systems. It’s basically a nitrogen-based cleaner that works very good on modern cars. A lot of companies use them in their gasoline when they sell it. I know Chevron does and I believe Texaco does now-- and so do a bunch of other companies. It’s a very good cleaner. You can buy it as a pure cleaner in a bottle fluid additive if you want. It actually does work. It’s not snake oil, it’s the real stuff.
