Hi! My name is \*\*\*\*\* \*\*\*\*\* I will be able to assist you. I’m sorry that you’re having trouble with your vehicle. Don’t worry though, we’ll be able to figure this out.
Please understand that I do not know your knowledge or capabilities so I **may** need to ask questions to find out basic information to help solve your specific problem.
First check the battery. It should have 12.5 volts +/-. While putting the ignition to the start position, check the small wire on the starter solenoid. It should have battery voltage. If you have battery voltage, then check the main power cable to the starter. It is the bigger wire. It should have battery voltage at all times. If you have voltage at both wires, then your starter is bad. If you do not, let me know and we can check the rest of the system.
My goal is to earn a 5 star rating experience. If you have any further questions about this concern, please feel free to reply back to me. If I’m not online at the time, I will respond ASAP when I get back. Thanks for being awesome and thank you for using JustAnswer!

Ok then your only option will be to bring it to a repair shop so they can properly test it. Before you do that though, I would try to jump start it with another vehicle first.

An A/C system can be divided into 3 different sub systems. These sub systems work for the most part independent from each other. The heater part of it works off of water from your engine. The refrigerant part is what...
The ideal tire pressure for your car is located on the tire and loading information label. This label is placed next to the driver’s door latch, and can be viewed when the driver’s door is open.
Hello! It sounds like the system is working properly. The fans are designed to turn on when the engine reaches a certain temperature. However if the fans do not work properly the vehicle will overheat. If the vehicle has an...
Fault codes need to be read out of the SRS system to determine the cause of the Air Bag Light being illuminated (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/is-it-safe-to-drive-with-the-air-bag-light-on). One common cause could be a faulty seat occupancy sensor. These are used to determine the firing...
Hello. First off, your vehicle is equipped with a timing belt. This should be changed soon if it has not already. As for the battery, I typically see these last until about 120,000-150,000 miles. If you need quotes for these,...
Hi there. The fact you're missing the gas cap is most likely what's causing the check fuel fill inlet to keep popping up. Believe it or not, the fuel cell is a highly balanced containment system that requires to maintain...
Hello there. Any mechanic that knows diesel engines would tell you that without inspecting the vehicle onsite, it's nearly impossible to give you an estimate on how long this engine would last. I've seen some Cummins diesel engines have difficulty...
Hello and thanks for writing in. There are a number of things that can cause the motor to over fuel or run rich. When this happens, it is usually related to things like faulty fuel injectors (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/fuel-injector-replacement), a failing mass...
If there were other bad behaviors leading up this failure, like backfiring or surging, I suggest looking for any apparent air leaks in hoses leading into the engine. Any air that gets into the engine without passing through the Mass...
