Does this happen in all gears? Or only in first and reverse?

Okay there are two things that will cause the problem you are having... You either have a bad pressure plate ... or the clutch is not engaging. Do you know if your clutch is Hydraulic or does it have a clutch cable that actuated the clutch?

OK your vehicle has a hydraulic clutch which means that there is no clutch cable between the pedal and the actual clutch, it is hydraulic we activate it... So the first thing I would do is attempt to bleed the clutch to make sure there is no air in the system... I need you to look at the area on the transmission where the hydraulic line runs from the master cylinder to the transmission you will see a bleeder valve... If it anytime you become confused with what I am saying just let me know and I will try to explain it in a different way but I am going to assume that you have some mechanical knowledge that you will know what I am talking about. So let me know if you know what a bleeder valve looks like before we go any further.

Okay well what you need to do is attempt to bleed the clutch, this is done by opening the bleeder valve and having someone step on the clutch pedal until it goes to the floor and then closing the bleeder valve before you release the clutch pedal... This is to be repeated at least five or six times, or until a steady stream of fluid comes out of the bleeder valve. Once that happens the clutch is properly bled, and we can then see if that was the reason that the vehicle was not going into gear. If you are going to be performing this yourself I would suggest having someone with some mechanical knowledge to help you because this is not the type of a repair for a novice to perform if after bleeding the clutch you still have a problem then I would have the transmission removed because the pressure plate is most likely the culprit and would need to be replaced, but the least intrusive test that we can perform is to bleed the clutch to see if that is what the problem is.I'm not trying to be rude bu saying the word Novice. But I also don't want you to tear into your vehicle without some knowledge of how the clutch system operates.
