I have a 2006 Hyundai Sonata that started having slot of issues. Mainly rough shifting and vibration while in gear.(but only low to no speeds) would a broken ignition condenser cause this?

ok so we have to assume this is either a motor mount issue or a transmission issue
have you checked the transmission fluid to make sure it's at the full mark, reddish/pink, and does not smell burnt?

I changed fluid soon as this started. It did smell burnt. The motor mount issue would affect shifting? I noticed that when I shift into drive from park the entire engine shifts forward a lot.

yes, the motor mounts would "feel" like a transmission issue if they are bad
and it the engine jumps like that, that is a telltale sign of the motor mounts

Hi there. If the tooth is broken then the pinion needs to be replaced and the rear differential needs to be readjusted. Once that is done then it can be determined if there is a transmission issue. It is possible...
Hi there - you are correct that there are 2 catalytic converters (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/catalytic-converter-replacement) on your vehicle; one (sometimes called a pre-catalyst) that is part of the exhaust manifold, and a 2nd converter further "downstream" in the exhuast system. It is...

You may have spark plug wires that are arching to ground and when cold and damp the plugs needs extra power to jump plug gap and wires ground out first before spark gets to plugs. Try replacing plug wires and...
