- Does the engine idle fine and rev up fine in park?
- The old trans oil did it have a bad odor and color?
- Any codes stored?

No check engine light. I didn't do the trans, jiffy lube did. But yes when accelerating before, and after the flush there is a foul oder. When I fill up the gas tank because I've run it all the way down, it idles for a second then dies. Then it takes me cranking it 3 or 4 more times for it to stay running. When it's hot outside and I'm doing in town driving, it tends to die when at a red light. When it's cooler, such as late at night, it runs better than when the sun is up. However it never goes above the normal temp line

You have described symptoms that fall in line with more than one issue. I suggest you have a transmission shop drive the vehicle to see if there are any transmission concerns. For the stalling issue, I believe that is going to be a dirty throttle body and MAF sensor that needs to be cleaned and a faulty idle air control valve that needs to be replaced.

Hi there. It sounds like something may have shorted during the alternator replacement. If the positive cable going to the alternator made contact with anything metal, then it may have blown the main fuse (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/signs-your-car-has-a-blown-fuse). If not, then the battery...

Hello - I would first put a real oil pressure gauge (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/how-do-you-know-if-the-oil-pressure-gauge-is-bad) on the port for the oil pressure switch and see what real pressure looks like before driving it. Low oil pressure light switches trigger at only about 5...
