Q: How do you activate the panic alarm?

Your car is equipped with an Anti-Theft Alarm system, but this can also double as a panic alarm if you feel threatened. By setting off the panic alarm, you can draw the attention of passersby. Here’s how to work it:

• Press the Horn/Alarm button on your remote to activate the panic alarm.

• The horn will immediately begin sounding.

• The lights will begin to flash.

• Press the button again to turn the alarm off, or use the key to crank the engine.

Tip

The panic alarm only works if the ignition is off. You cannot use it if the engine is running.
