Thank you for the added info........
Strange they didn't get it started or pinpoint the issue, as Dealer Scan Tool is needed to pinpoint the cause
The only wires at the Ignition Switch that would have to do with NOT recognizing the Key is the Transponder Signal wire, in which you would need Testing equipment (Dealer Scan Tool or equal) to identify and repair

Very sorry.......This issue is not locate a wire and repair, as there is much more to why the Key is not identified and vehicle will not start
Use of Ford Dealer Scan Tool or equal, is needed to Test, Program and Update the system to pinpoint the exact cause
Many Automotive Shops can do this for less than Ford Dealer
Some Mobile Locksmiths can come to you to do this also, but you need to contact them prior to any Repair to be sure they are aware of what happened.
Let me know if you need further
THANK YOU

sorry for the delay......no internet
IF the Factory Alarm was the issue, UNLOCK of the Door with Key or REMOTE would typically DISARM
Sounds like the Key is not being recognized, which leads to use of Ford Dealer Scan Tool or equal to identify the issue
THANK YOU

You should have the ignition switch (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/ignition-switch-replacement) and the passenger seat module replaced in order to keep your vehicle operating safely. The problem with the seat module seems to be very common across for the 2009 Saturn Sky, I would...

Hello. The P0343 code (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/p0343-obd-ii-trouble-code-camshaft-position-sensor-circuit-high-input-by-logan-utsman) indicates there is no signal from the passenger side cam position sensor (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/camshaft-position-sensor-replacement) (Bank 1 actually). Given you have changed the sensor, this would suggest a wiring or connector issue. Your mileage would also make...

Hi there. In some cases, when you have acceleration problems after changing a transmission hose, the issue is related to either an obstruction in the transmission fluid lines or the torque converter not receiving or having enough transmission fluid (slipping)....
Hi Gary. Thanks for contacting us today. Usually, a damaged transmission position sensor (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/symptoms-of-a-bad-or-failing-transmission-position-sensor-switch) will cause the symptoms you're describing, but it's very odd for a battery replacement to activate this problem. It's possible that this issue is non-related. The...
