Hello and thank you for using JustAnswer. My name is \*\*\*\*\* \*\*\*\*\* I will do my best to assist you.. I help many customers, so sometimes my replies are delayed, I will respond once available. This light will come on when the computer sees a problem that affects the performance of the engine or [transmission](/topics-transmission-ford/). There are many problems that can fail that will trigger this. It could be a faulty sensor, wiring issue, module fault, engine malfunction, etc. To see what specifically is causing the light to come on the vehicle will need to be tested with a scan tool that connects to the vehicle. This test will provide a trouble code that describes what specific system is having the problem. If you can have the vehicle scanned and can give me the code, I will be able to tell you specifically what is wrong with it. If you do not have a scan tool then you can bring your vehicle to any auto part store and they will scan it for free and give you the trouble code. I would do this ASAP so that we can determine what the problem is and keep any other problems from happening.

Honda Civics are really good cars, but I am not a fan of those CVT transmissions, because you don’t get power out of them. You say that it is a lease car, so if the thing breaks with 100,000 miles...
In order for all the monitors to clear you will have to do a lot of driving to see if it clears. The last two to clear take highway driving at a steady speed to clear and may take a...
This sounds like potentially a mass air flow sensor (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/mass-airflow-sensor-replacement) problem. The mass air flow sensor monitors the air flow into the engine and when this is faulty can cause reactions much like what you are describing. I would suggest...
Hello and thank you for contacting Your Mechanic. What seems to happen is the technician from Wal-Mart did not put any oil in the engine. This is common occurrence with Wal-Mart. When you pulled the dipstick and there was no...
The first thing to check would be the engine oil level. The red oil can light is a warning light for low oil pressure and this can happen if there is an internal failure or if the oil level is...
Hey there. The first thing you need to determine is if it is the clutch that is making the noise or the compressor. If the compressor is noisy internally, replacing the clutch won't fix your problem. There are many aftermarket...
Hi Rufus. Thanks for contacting us today. Of the three codes you've provided us tonight, the one that I would place most of my focus would be the crankshaft position sensor. In some cases, when the electrical harness of this...
Diagnostic Trouble Code P0301 (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/p0301-obd-ii-trouble-code-cylinder-1-misfire-detected-by-jamahl-walker) means that Cylinder No. 1 is misfiring but the causes of that misfiring can be very varied. The fuel injector could simply be dead or there is little cylinder compression due to a burned valve...
