I have a 2002 Ford Expedition, lost the key last year and instead of paying all the money and getting a new key with chip recoding my husband put a new brain in doesn't affect whether or not I have a key with chip. Now I've lost the key again and I think the used to the fuel pump is blown. My question is do you know what amp fuse it is so that I can be prepared when I go down to where the truck is at to put it in Mechanic's Assistant: Do you have a backup key? Maybe the emergency kind that fits in your wallet? Unfortunately know which is why we bypass the Pats system when I lost the key last year. I don't even have the remoteless entry Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your Expedition yourself? What have you tried so far? Nothing so far, I was prepared to pay to get a chip key and have it recoated until my husband reminded me that we no longer need that since the anti-theft system is no longer an issue because the brain doesn't have that anymore. It sounds like it's trying to crank using an old Expedition key that seems to fit just fine, it turns enough to where the [engine](/topics-engine-ford/) tries to turn over but the anti-theft light flashes and it won't turn over. So I figure it either needs to be reset or the fuse is out to the fuel pump Mechanic's Assistant: Anything else you want the Mechanic to know before I connect you? I can't think of anything right off

I believe that's what I was needing to know. I will check and see if that is the problem if not may I contact you guys again with further questions if needed? Oh also when you say 20 amp fuse, that's just your basic fuse type 20 amp fuse? Or is it some type of special fuse that I'm needing? BTW my name is \*\*\*\*\* \*\*\*\*\* husband is away right now so I'm kind of handling this on my own and basically having to depend on the internet and asking a lot of questions to a lot of different people to try and figure this thing out. Hopefully you can help me.

When I turn the key all power is lost and my theft light keeps blinking on and off also I know the fuel pump isn't kicking on and the battery that I've got is a small battery but it's a 12 volt battery is the amperage on the battery not enough or what kind of battery do you need to use for the Ford Expedition 2002
