Q: Exhaust pipe dragging

asked by on March 28, 2016

The exhaust pipe is now dragging and touching the ground.

The exhaust system uses rubber hangers to suspend the plumbing along the belly of the vehicle. Over time these hangers may dry out, crack and fall apart breaking the connection and allowing components to sag. Have an experienced technician inspect the vehicle at a muffler or exhaust shop in case a pipe has become bent or broken.
